But I still love to do the finishing touches in NX2, especially with Nik's NX2 plugin, so I wind up saving a tiff from other raw converters such as Lr, and move that tiff into NX2.
The only reason I even thought about getting NXi is because NX2 will not process NEF files from my new D7200. Thanks! Actually, I've been using NX2 on this new computer for a year now, and it displays just fine. That's an old program and probably also is not dpi-aware. Then you should find you can change high dpi scaling. Now, it will not allow me to return to the original override setting, as the High DPI scaling override box is grayed out.Īs the first Properties -> Compatibility screen, click "Change settings for all users". Overriding scaling settings is a kludge for program that are not dpi-aware and is rarely perfect. I then set the override to "application", after which the text is a bit larger, but still too small. Pics look sort of blurry, and the text is larger, but doesn't look sharp. Not hopeful, because high-DPI scaling has been around for a while now. The interface isn't pretty, but it works.
